One Acre semi urban/rural property. Truly a delightful space with morning sun, full moon vistas. Native plants, beautiful wildlife including microbats, antechinus, Australian native bush rats, Eastern dwarf green tree frogs. North Richmond is about 13km away.
We are 13kms from regular public transport, you will need a vehicle. East Kurrajong is a strong close community and is an ecstatically pretty area on a sandstone ridge close to the Wollemi national Park. Opportunities to hike and Kayak are close by on pristine rivers.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

I joined WWOOF to engage with like minded people that care about nature and the earth. I need help on the property with removal of the lantana and I’ve had so many friends suggest I join. I’m well travelled and enjoy meeting people of different cultures.

Organic/Biological methods we use

Mostly I pull all weeds. I use an organic Bioweed spray a pine oil organic spray that inhibits growth. It requires sun to be effective and preferably on small growth. So again these are all used close to the house. Out of fire season I can use a flame to extinguish young weeds, however the ground is wet. Overall I resort to competitive growth and pull weeds, a beneficial meditation.
