Welcome to our 154-acre lifestyle farm in beautiful Conondale, just 20 minutes from Maleny in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Our property combines native bushland, rainforest, rolling paddocks, the Mary River, three dams and abundant wildlife, creating a peaceful place to live and work.
We’re passionate about regenerative farming and restoring the land while creating a welcoming place for family, friends and WWOOFers. Current projects include environmental regeneration, improving pastures, fencing, gardens, and developing a small farm camping experience. During your free time you can enjoy the swimming pool, tennis and pickleball, kayaking, fishing, bushwalking and exploring the nearby hinterland, beaches and the internationally recognised permaculture community of Crystal Waters.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
For us, WWOOF has always been about much more than getting help on the farm.
We genuinely enjoy meeting people from different countries and cultures, sharing ideas, learning from one another and building friendships that often last well beyond a WWOOF stay.
We first became WWOOF hosts over a decade ago while living on our hobby farm near Roma in south-west Queensland. During that time we welcomed people of many different nationalities, ages and backgrounds. Some arrived with extensive farming experience, while others had never set foot on a farm before. Some were fluent English speakers and others were just beginning to learn. Every single person brought something unique, and we honestly believe we learned as much from our WWOOFers as they learned from us.
Many of our former WWOOFers have remained friends long after they left. One of the highlights was travelling through Asia a few years ago and catching up with several of them in their home countries. Seeing them again and experiencing their culture from the other side of the exchange was incredibly rewarding and reminded us just how special the WWOOF community can be.
Lynda was born and raised in New Zealand before moving to Australia, so she understands what it’s like to arrive in a new country and find your feet. We hope everyone who stays with us feels welcomed, included and at home.
As we continue restoring our property using regenerative farming principles, we’re excited to once again open our home to WWOOFers. We look forward to sharing our beautiful corner of Queensland, learning together, working together, laughing together, and creating memories and friendships that last long after your stay has finished.

Organic/Biological methods we use
Although we are not a certified organic farm, we are committed to regenerative agriculture and continually improving the way we care for our land.
Our focus is on restoring soil health, increasing biodiversity and creating a healthier ecosystem for future generations. We’re gradually implementing regenerative practices across the property, including using goats to naturally control lantana, reducing soil disturbance through low-till methods where practical, improving pasture diversity with multi-species seed mixes and encouraging healthy grazing management.
We believe healthy soil is the foundation of healthy farming. By working with nature, rather than against it, we hope to improve water retention, increase carbon sequestration and create a more resilient landscape.
We’re also interested in natural and organic fertilisers and enjoy researching and trialling new ideas, including developing our own fertiliser blends using resources from the property.
Being located only 4 km from Crystal Waters gives us access to one of Australia’s best-known permaculture communities. We’re always learning and enjoy exchanging ideas with people who share an interest in regenerative farming, sustainability and caring for the environment.
