Rowenna and Tony
Hi, we are a small family on a small rural property, located 20 minutes south of Hobart. We have a vegetable garden and fruit trees, as well as a small dog (Louie), a goat, some chickens, and parrots. We have a self contained cottage for guests to stay in (with its own kitchen and bathroom). We enjoy sailing and walking in our spare time. We’d appreciate help in our established garden doing such light gardening work as weeding (highly suited to females).

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We joined WWOOF many years ago as hosts and loved meeting new people, and having them stay with us. We recently re-joined WWOOF to continue this lifestyle.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We practise permaculture and organic gardening methods.

Also rotate our chickens around the garden so they can be a chicken tractor.
