Redgum – central Australia
Red Gum is based on 500 acres of bush land 268km northeast of Alice Springs in the NOrthern Territory. We run a shop where we provide food, groceries, furniture, vehicle accessories, electronic equipment to the local communities.We also have 14 caravan sites,  cabins and small Aboriginal art business. We have a large vegetable garden and do seasonal planting in Autumn and Spring.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We joined WWOOF as we find hosting people from all over the world the most culturally rewarding experiences. People of varying nationalities bring so much life and joy into our community while providing much needed help.  Their willingness to help provides the much-needed assistance that makes our little slice of paradise possible.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We have a large vegetable garden and do seasonal planting in Autumn and Spring. We use natural insecticides such as chilli and garlic sprays.
