Penny Anne Walton
We are situated in the picturesque Hunter Valley surrounded by bushland and abundant wildlife. We live in a solar powered home built from part of the set of The Matrix movie. We are a family of three Hadyn, an artist, Penny an artist /teacher and our daughter Correa who is exploring permaculture and occasionally visits the property. We are a musically interested family and love jamming with our guests. We love travelling and meeting people from all over the world.

We have a swimming pool, a small vineyard, veggie garden and orchard.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We were hosts for three years before covid and had many wonderful experiences through WWOOFing. We formed many wonderful friendships through being hosts and hope to continue this with our renewed membership. We would like to exchange skills, languages and cultural experiences. We feel very lucky to live where we are and enjoy sharing our home with other people.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We practice gardening and winemaking without pesticides and herbicides, utilising permaculture principles where possible, including observing and interacting, catching and storing energy and using no waste. We tend to recycle and repurpose our building materials as much as possible, which is a big part of how we keep our work fun and creative.
