Why I became a WWOOF Host

I became a WWOOF host because I believe farming should also be a place of learning, exchange, and human connection. Nicolau Ecofarm is not only about producing food — it is about caring for the land, restoring soil health, and creating a more respectful relationship between people and nature. Hosting WWOOFers is a way to share that vision with others in a real and practical way.

Organic/Biological methods we use

At Nicolau Ecofarm, we use regenerative organic and biological farming methods that build soil health, support biodiversity, and work in harmony with nature. Our practices include composting, mulching, cover crops, careful water use, minimal disturbance, and natural soil improvement to create a healthy, resilient farm ecosystem.
