Mount Murray Farm is 790m up on the edge of the Illawarra Escarpment on 25 acres of rich volcanic soil. We host workshops and are currently developing our permaculture plan. The farm has Chickens, Sheep and Alpacas and is home to three dogs and two indoors only cats.
The wildlife here is exceptionally diverse, including wallabies, wombats, and abundant bird life.
We need help with the gardens, helping with the livestock and implementation of the permaculture design. We are not far from the coast, 6klms to the town of Robertson and one hour and forty mins from Sydney.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We’ve previously hosted WWOOFers from around the world. When COVID happened we parked our Airbnb and WWOOFing activity and now are just happy to start hosting WWOOFers again. We love it here so much, and really enjoy meeting new people.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We are totally organic. No weedkillers or any non-natural fertilisers have been used since we arrived in 2017. We don’t use roundup.

Most fertilisation is done with either manure from our small flock of Alpacas and sheep, or we use natural Fish/Seaweed emulsion.
