Mountainview is a small hobby farm with young steers, boer goat breeding program, heritage poultry, guinea fowl one alpacca, domestic dogs and two riding horses. We have many fruit and nut trees for self sufficency which includes a large vegetable garden and bee hives for honey.

Our aim is to be self reliant and we would love to share our knowledge with others.

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We have spent 15 years building up our farm and garden and we would like to share our food and knowledge with others.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We are working towards organic practices and sustainable living choices.

Which include using and making our own fertiliser for the vegetable garden.

Permaculture practices of using and re using what we have.

Home kills and home butchering as well as harvesting our herbs and making products including tintures and perserves and jams.

Main purpose paddock to plate, to live without being enslaved by supermarkets.
