Living off-grid on a peaceful bush property on the beautiful Mid North Coast of NSW. We’re surrounded by kangaroos, koalas and other wildlife, with bushwalks, swimming holes and a lovely community. I’m looking for a friendly couple with their own van or accommodation to help around 2 hours a day in exchange for a place to stay. Self-catering.
Why I became a WWOOF Host
I became a WWOOF host because I’m a single mum with five children and I’d love a little extra help to keep the property cared for while creating a slower, more manageable way of life for our family. We have hosted WWOOFers in the past and really enjoyed the experience of meeting new people, sharing our lifestyle and having that sense of exchange.
I love the idea of welcoming people from different places and sharing our off-grid lifestyle, beautiful bush surroundings and community. I’m hoping WWOOF can again be a genuine exchange where people enjoy staying here, experience the area and wildlife, and help me slowly bring the gardens and property back to life.

Organic/Biological methods we use
I have established fruit trees as well as raised garden beds, although the garden beds aren’t currently growing anything. I’m hoping to slowly bring them back into use as life settles down a little. In the past I’ve kept chickens and rabbits and used their manure to naturally enrich the soil, but I’m taking a break from keeping animals at the moment.
I prefer natural, low-impact and organic methods where possible, including composting, mulching, hand weeding and avoiding harsh chemicals. The property is surrounded by native bush and wildlife, so caring for the land and encouraging biodiversity is important to me.
I’m in a slower phase at the moment, focusing on making the property manageable and enjoyable rather than doing everything at once. WWOOFers with an interest in organic gardening, permaculture, fruit trees or helping revive the raised beds would be very welcome. No experience needed.
