Our property is a beautiful lifestyle rural property with animals, located just an hour’s drive from Sydney CBD. Set on a scenic and serene landscape, it’s home to a variety of animals, including horses, two German Shepherds, a cat, chickens, ducks, and ponies. The property feels like a mini zoo, full of life and charm, offering a unique and peaceful environment.
While it feels like you’re in the middle of a tranquil forest, the property is only 49 kilometers from Sydney CBD, providing the perfect blend of rural serenity and easy access to city attractions. From the stunning sunsets to the open fireplace evenings, the property offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere ideal for enjoying nature and relaxation.
Our property is more than just a place; it’s a retreat where animals and people coexist in harmony. It’s not a working farm but a private sanctuary designed for a relaxed and fulfilling lifestyle, where the sounds of nature and the laughter of children create a lively and inviting space. Helpers are asked to assist for approximately 5 hours per day, five days per week, in exchange for accommodation, meals, and the opportunity to experience life on a rural horse property close to Sydney. A car can be made available to run errands, go to Aldi or local shopping village if you have a valid driving licence and required insurance to drive. Trips to Sydney can be organised in advance by travelling with the hosts who frequently travels to Sydney for work purposes.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
I would like to take the opportunity to welcome people from other countries to experience our beautiful property whilst exchanging cultural experiences from both sides. We would also like someone who maybe has a bit of experience working with horses to assist with the family and learn about working on a horse property. We love meeting people from different parts of the world as well. We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic volunteers who wish to gain work experience at the property. Volunteers are involved in many aspects of day-to-day operations, depending on their individual background, skills, confidence levels, interests but activities might include stable work, pruning, gardening, learn stable work in return for food and accommodation. We do prefer those who can stay for a longer period for 4 weeks and more. We can also provide accommodation for up to 3 months at a time for the right candidate.
Organic/Biological methods we use
Biological farming is a chemical-free approach that emphasises improving soil microbiology to enhance plant growth and increase produce yield. To support this, we use natural fertilizers to restore soil health and promote robust plant development. No chemicals are used in our horse feed or anywhere on the property. Additionally, we incorporate manures and composts to further enrich the soil and encourage sustainable plant growth.
