Join us on our 150-acre regenerative family farm in the beautiful Northern Rivers of NSW. We’re building a diverse syntropic farming system alongside a small free-range egg operation with 200 chickens and several cows. Just 5 minutes from Alstonville and 30 minutes from Byron Bay, you’ll gain hands-on farming experience while enjoying one of Australia’s most stunning regions.
We decided to become a WWOOF host because we’ve experienced firsthand how rewarding it can be. My partner spent time WWOOFing and loved the opportunity to learn new skills, experience life with another family, and explore a new parts of the land while contributing through meaningful work. Those experiences left a lasting impression, and we’d love to offer the same opportunity to others.
For us, WWOOF is about much more than getting help on the farm. We enjoy the idea of welcoming people into our home, sharing meals, exchanging ideas and stories, and learning from different cultures and perspectives. Of course, there’s always plenty to do on the farm, and an extra pair of hands is genuinely appreciated, but we see WWOOFing as a two-way exchange where everyone learns something and leaves with good memories.
