Creel Price – Zestiny Farm
Zestiny Farm is a certified organic farm nestled in the beautiful hinterland of the NSW Central Coast. We grow lemons, oranges, and strawberries, as well as more than 40 varieties of seasonal vegetables that change through out the year according to the growing seasons. Our vegetable range includes cabbage, lettuce, spinach, spring onions, leeks, coriander, tomatoes, capsicums, and many others.
Using regenerative farming practices, we also produce high-quality pasture-raised eggs, ensuring our farming methods nourish both the land and our community.
Our fresh organic produce is supplied directly to households through our farm box program, as well as to farmers’ markets, wholesalers, and food cooperatives across the region. We are passionate about providing nutritious, sustainably grown food while building strong connections between farmers and consumers.

Why I became a WWOOF Host
We strongly believe in the value of cultural exchange and sharing knowledge. Our team of seven people comes from five different cultural backgrounds, creating a diverse and welcoming environment where everyone can learn from one another.
The goal of our farm-stay program is to share our home, our farm, and our way of life in exchange for a few hours of help on the farm each day. We see it as an opportunity for mutual learning rather than simply a work arrangement.
We ask for approximately 20 hours of help per week in exchange for accommodation and meals provided during your stay. This arrangement allows guests to experience life on an organic farm, learn new skills, and be part of our community.
There are also many farms in the surrounding area that regularly look for workers, making Central Mangrove a great place to connect with the local farming community and gain a range of agricultural experiences.

Organic/Biological methods we use
At Zestiny Farm, we produce healthy food while caring for the land. As a certified organic farm, we do not use synthetic fertilisers, herbicides, or pesticides. Instead, we focus on building healthy soils, encouraging biodiversity, and working with nature.
We follow regenerative farming principles, using compost, crop rotation, cover crops, and pasture management to improve soil health and create a resilient farming system. Our vegetables are mostly grown outdoors, while our tunnels help protect crops and extend the growing season.
Our pasture-raised chickens are regularly moved onto fresh pasture, and the integration of crops, animals, and natural habitats helps create a balanced ecosystem.
We are also exploring biodynamic farming practices and are always happy to exchange knowledge and experiences with people interested in regenerative, organic, and biodynamic agriculture.
