Ben and Victoria – Impressionnel Vineyard
Join Our Vineyard Family on Tasmania’s Stunning Tasman Peninsula!
Hi! We’re Ben and Victoria, along with our three boys—Raphaël, Eric and baby James—and our friendly dog, Milla. We run a boutique family vineyard on the beautiful Tasman Peninsula and would love to welcome some enthusiastic WWOOFers to share this adventure with us.
Minimum stay: We prefer stays of 2 weeks or more, with longer stays (1–3 months) especially welcome.
Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, with friends or even as another WWOOFing family, we’d love to hear from you. We have two comfortable caravans, so we can host up to three couples (or another family) at the same time, creating a fun and social atmosphere.
Vineyard Life

Most days you’ll be helping with seasonal vineyard work such as pruning, vine tucking, canopy management, gardening and general maintenance. No experience is needed—we’re happy to teach you everything you need to know.
Your Home Away From Home

You’ll stay in a cosy caravan with a diesel heater and its own kitchen, giving you plenty of independence while being just steps from the vines. You’ll also have access to the bathroom, laundry and free Wi-Fi.
We’ll keep you stocked with our freshly baked sourdough bread and homemade jam to enjoy whenever you like, and we love sharing delicious meals made with fresh Tasmanian produce. Everyone simply pitches in with cooking, dishes and keeping shared spaces tidy.
Family Life

We love welcoming WWOOFers into our family. While most of your hours will be spent in the vineyard, there are also opportunities to join in with family life—whether that’s helping with a project around the property, kicking a football with the boys, enjoying our backyard playground and giant sandpit together, or simply sharing meals and good conversations. It’s often these everyday moments that become everyone’s favourite memories.
Explore Tasmania

We’re just 15 minutes from Port Arthur and about one hour from Hobart, surrounded by spectacular beaches, coastal walks, wildlife and some of Tasmania’s most beautiful scenery.

Public transport on the Tasman Peninsula is very limited (just one bus a day), so having your own vehicle is recommended if you’d like to explore. That said, don’t let that stop you from applying—we’ve had wonderful WWOOFers stay with us for over a month without a car, and they still had an amazing time. We’re always happy to help with the occasional lift when we can.
If you’re looking for more than just a place to work—a chance to learn vineyard skills, enjoy the outdoors, meet great people and experience authentic Tasmanian family life—we’d love to hear from you.
See you soon!

Why I became a WWOOF Host

We decided to become Woofers hosts because we truly believe in the power of community and the joy of sharing our beautiful vineyard with others. Our family has built this vineyard on the stunning Tasmania Peninsula, and we’ve always felt that it’s more than just a place to work—it’s a place to connect, grow, and learn together.
Having 3 young boys and a playful dog means our life is filled with energy and adventure, and we wanted to extend that warmth to people who are looking for an authentic experience on the land. By hosting Woofers, we get the opportunity to meet like-minded people who are eager to help out with our daily tasks like vine tucking and fruit harvesting, while also creating a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
We offer a cozy, private space where guests can unwind and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the vineyard, and we love the idea of sharing our home-cooked meals made from local ingredients. For us, it’s about building lasting connections, learning from each other, and creating a fun, fulfilling experience for all involved.
Ultimately, hosting Woofers allows us to bring a bit of the world into our lives while also helping others learn about sustainable farming, gardening, and living in a tight-knit, friendly environment. We can’t wait to welcome new faces and share our slice of paradise with you!

Organic/Biological methods we use

🌱 **Working with Nature, Not Against It** 🌿
At our vineyard on the Tasman Peninsula, we believe great wine starts with healthy soil and thriving biodiversity. We use **biological and ecologically responsible methods** to care for our vines — farming in harmony with the land rather than relying on chemicals or heavy intervention.
Some of the things we do include:

🍂 **Encouraging natural balance** – we use compost, mulch, and organic matter to feed the soil and support beneficial microorganisms. Healthy soil = resilient vines.

🐞 **Promoting biodiversity** – native plants, wildflowers, and cover crops attract pollinators and natural pest predators, reducing the need for sprays.

🚜 **Minimal intervention** – we avoid synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. Instead, we rely on natural solutions, like biological teas, compost extracts, and manual weed management.

💧 **Caring for water and wildlife** – we manage our water use carefully and maintain natural habitats for birds, insects, and small animals around the property.

🌾 **Regeneration over extraction** – our goal is to leave the land richer, more alive, and more resilient than when we started.
By joining us, you’ll learn hands-on how ecological viticulture works — from nurturing the soil to observing how every small action contributes to a healthy ecosystem (and, of course, better wine 🍷!).
