Why I became a WWOOF Host

We became WWOOF hosts so that we could share the experience of living in the Australian bush, so that others could enjoy our property as much as we do.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We believe in keeping the property in its natural state as much as possible, with minimal intervention. We are members of the Land for Wildlife scheme for landowners who wish to manage areas for biodiversity and wildlife habitat, and enjoy co-habiting with kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, echidnas, emus. Birdlife is prolific, and we are lucky enough to have a colony of Glossy Black-Cockatoos, one of Australia’s most iconic and threatened birds.

Work on the property is basic land management; maintaining fire breaks, breaking down fallen trees, clearing combustible material, cutting grass and paddocks etc.
