Why I became a WWOOF Host

To be honest I’ve found that being here on my own for 2 years I really do need some help – some extra muscle, some motivation, passion and just having someone around can create incredible momentum. Also I get to learn and be enriched in new company- not just new skills and ideas but often things about myself! And also whilst I do love my own company, I love the idea of sharing this beautiful space with others – it’s too magik to keep to myself !

Organic/Biological methods we use

My endeavour here is very small scale and still in its development and as such is open to any and all possibilities and creative ideas. So far I am following the permaculture text from Linda Woodrow. And aspects from Findhorn . The overarching philosophy is to use the naturally occurring resources that are already here to build the foundation and to mimic the way nature already flows . The way is slow and listen and learn from Mother Earth – she is the teacher .
