Why I became a WWOOF Host

We enjoy sharing seasonal life on our small flower and garden property, meeting people from around the world, and exchanging skills, stories and practical knowledge.

Organic/Biological methods we use

We grow flowers, fruit, herbs and vegetables using organic and sustainable garden practices, without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers.

Our focus is on building healthy soil with compost, mulch and organic matter; encouraging bees, birds and beneficial insects; hand weeding; mixed plantings; crop rotation; and working with the seasons rather than against them.

WWOOFers help with real seasonal garden tasks such as planting, harvesting flowers, mulching, seed sowing, pruning, composting and general garden care.

We believe healthy plants come from healthy soil and careful observation, so we focus on prevention and natural balance rather than chemical treatments.

Our garden is always evolving, and we enjoy sharing practical skills for small-scale flower growing, seasonal living and sustainable gardening.
